=========================================
Dear family members and friends,
Greetings and salutations, and welcome to the Phills Web Site. We are very proud to capture some of the highlights of the Phills Family Reunion. This reunion was historic in many ways, and the occasion will always remain the most memorable in our lives for a very long time. Let us show you why.

Family Roots:
---------------------------------
From an historic perspective, the Phills Family descended from the late Henry Thomas Walcott Phills Sr. and Elvira Augusta Edwards Phills who were married in 1895. To this union was born 11 children: sons - Isaac, Frederick, Henry Jr., Charles, Gerald, John and daughters - Rosamond, Viola, Sarah, Lillian, Emily. Many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren from Canada, the United States of America and St. Vincent and the Grenadines celebrated this special reunion. Living at the time of this reunion are three daughters and one daughter-in-law:

-Viola Phills Gibson, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada;
-Sarah Phills Stephens, St. Vincent and the Grenadines;
-Emily Phills Joshua, Orlando, Florida, USA and St. Vincent;
-Eloise Walker Phills, New York, USA.

Back to our Roots:
------------------------------
It was the rich history of our roots that led us back to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) for this family reunion. The Phills family, widely scattered throughout the United States, Canada and the West Indies, began to plan this millennium reunion in the 4th Quarter of 1998. Approximately 65 members of the Phills family ranging from 89 years old to 5 years old participated in the grand reunion. When coupled with the extended Walker family, the count increased to 80, and when coupled further with extended relatives and friends, our total bonding and fellowship exceeded 100 people.

One remarkable trait of this reunion was that many family members had not met each other before. So it was a real treat in getting acquainted and sharing our history and background.
